Here are the GC events for October. Take part in our fun!
× Friday, October 10th, 10:45am Release
Bicycle to Shirl’s, where we will eat lunch and/or have an ice cream.
Bicycle to Lincoln Park, where we will decorate our Crazy Car for the Homecoming Parade.
Homecoming Parade rolls at 4pm.
Bicycle alongside the car.
We need ideas for the Crazy Car. We need creative students to work on it. Sign up today!
Take a permission slip.
× Monday-Friday, October 13-17th, all lunches
We will be hosting Oktoberfest spirit activities in the commons.
Please sign up today to organize, write or run activities. Last year we had: 1) count the pretzels in the stein, 2) hold the rootbeer-filled stein as long as you can, 3) culture quiz, and 4) dancing.
Winners of activities got free lunch on Oktoberfest day.
Frau Orth has a host of videos to show.
× Thursday, October 16th, 3-5pm
Cooking/Baking for Oktoberfest the next day.
Frau Orth will do all the shopping.
We will get together to cook the brats and potato salad.
Bring something to put your hair up with.
Sign up today! If there are parents who would like to help, let me know.

Oktoberfest! at Tremper
We will be serving brats, cheddarwursts, potato salad, pretzels, strudel, kraut.
We need people to: do PR, decorate, set up tables and food, serve, collect money, count money afterwards, sell leftovers, clean up, wash dishes.
Sign up today with your ID# in order to be excused. You MUST check with your teacher before the 17th in order to be assured it’s okay.

× Meeting Day Change? FTCs cannot come to Thursday meetings. How about Tuesday?
× German Club Membership requirements: Meeting attendance, purchase of either a T-shirt ($10) or lanyard ($5)--(then we won’t have to charge membership fee, and we get a little exposure around the school, would be cool if we were to all wear them on meeting days and/or events)
× T-shirt craft: people interested in adorning their shirt with some color or German things or whatever should suggest a date/time. Sign up today!
